How the calculators work
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser and uses standard, published industry formulas, which we show openly on each page. Shared URLs and technical analytics are described in our privacy policy. The results are nominal values: real products vary slightly by manufacturer, so critical fitment and towing decisions should always be confirmed against manufacturer documentation for your exact vehicle.
Where the vehicle data comes from
Curated pages like the towing capacity lookup and the 0-60 database are compiled from public manufacturer specifications, towing guides and reputable independent instrumented tests. Towing figures are presented as ranges by generation with the configuration notes the headline numbers depend on, because a single number without its required cab, axle and package is marketing, not a spec. Recent model-year figures are cross-checked against current manufacturer documentation at the time of writing.
Corrections policy
Vehicle specs change mid-cycle and mistakes happen. If you spot a number that does not match your manufacturer documentation, email us the model, year and source, and we will verify and correct it promptly. Accuracy complaints are treated as the highest-priority work on this site.

Who runs GarageCalc
GarageCalc is built and maintained by Deividas Stankevicius, its founder. Deividas compiles the vehicle datasets, runs the NHTSA complaint-data research published in the research section, and personally answers every email sent to the address below. Media inquiries and data questions are welcome; replies typically go out the same day.
